Why should you trim your candle wicks?

It is very important to trim your candle wick to about 1/4" before every burn. This prevents the flame from burning too high and avoids the wick producing too much soot, which allows the candle to burn safely and cleanly. This practice extends the life of your candle and makes the experience better all around! 

Our wick trimmer is about 7" long to reach all the way down into the candle jar, and the flat cups on the ends catch the blackened parts so they don't fall into your candle.
